Kris Andrews

I live in Middlebury, Vermont with my husband, my son and our silly cat, Pixel.
I have been working and teaching in the fiber arts world for over twenty five years. I enjoy teaching classes in a variety of techniques, including surface embroidery, hardanger, stumpwork, mixed media art quilting, and goldwork. I have taught for EGA National and Regional Seminars, individual guilds, museums, shops, and private groups.
For the past five years I have worked with my local library, introducing kids (and their parents) to the joys of hand embroidery and making things through a series of roughly monthly classes or kits.
I am a certified Instructor in Japanese Embroidery, and organize a group that meets twice a year in the Boston area for multi-level instruction.
In addition, I am a certified Oxford Punch Needle Rug Hooking Instructor, and I have taught punch needle rug hooking classes through The Oxford School in Cornwall, VT. I also run a local rug group in Middlebury that meets twice a month.
